Lulu & Marula and ME!

Lulu & Marula is a collection of small batch, all natural skin care products, handmade with care here in South Africa. I have been a self proclaimed brand ambassador since the early days. Meeting Jesslyn, owner and founder of Lulu & Marula, at fairs and seeing how her enthusiasm, energy and care carries through to her beautifully nourishing products.

I have bought and used Lulu & Marula products for a while now and at the ripe age of +-27 I found a skin care routine that worked for me. At night I start by removing my make up with the Balancing Cleansing Balm and after my shower I apply either the Nourishing Treatment Oil or the Refreshing Tonic Mist, I usually alternate depending on what I feel my skin needs. Before I go to bed I apply the Soothing Hand & Foot Balm to my feet, and during the day the Energising Body Balm is my go to for all over body moisturising! Now after reading that you can understand my excitement when I received a surprise package filled with the new and improved Lulu & Marula products.

Not only have I fallen in love with their new packaging, Lulu & Marula have enhanced their formulations, bringing you the best in 100% natural skin food! The two products I will be focusing on are, the  Refreshing Tonic Mist and the  Soothing Hand & Foot Balm.

Refreshing Tonic Mist

What’s new??

With added antioxidants thanks to the addition of Grape Seed and White Willow Bark Extracts to offer skin protection against free radicals from environmental stressors that cause premature aging. White Willow Bark also adds a mild exfoliation benefit to keep skin looking and feeling smoother and brighter, and assist in clearing blemishes.

A soothing blend of Floral hydrosols, Cucumber and Aloe Vera, brightening Gingko Biloba and Grape Seed Extract, leave skin feeling soft, smoother and totally refreshed. Suitable for all skin types, this hydrating mist gives your complexion an instant boost of radiance.

Rich in antioxidants, the mist acts as a light serum to guard your skin from harmful environmental pollutants and scavenge free radicals in the skin caused by UV and chemical aggressors.

White Willow Bark contains salicylic acid, which gently removes dead skin cells and helps to combat blemishes and dark marks.

Use during your morning and evening cleansing ritual and as often asrequired throughout the day to keep skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. Spritz lightly over the face and décolletage to set make-up before a busy day or an evening out.

Soothing Hand & Foot Balm

What’s new??

We’ve now included Mango Butter for it’s amazing nourishing and hydrating benefits to the skin as well as its healing and protective properties.. The new and improved hand & foot treatment balm remains as soothingly scented as before,, now offering a luxuriously smooth,, creamy touch and feel without the grainy appearance that often happens with oil – based products containing Shea Butter..

A rich, luxurious blend including exotic Mango Butter combined with the nourishing oils of Avocado, Marula, Coconut and Sweet Almond. They work to deeply replenish, moisturise and protect yo ur hands and feet, feeding your skin with the goodness it needs…

The balm is ideal for repairing any dry, chapped skin and preventing further moisture loss from your heels, cuticles and elbows… The balm can be used anytime of the day and makes for an excellent massage balm for when dry skin needs a little extra care!

We recommend using after a hot bath or shower or before climbing into bed… Massage a small amount between the fingertips to soften and gently apply to heels, feet and elbows using circular movements allowing it to absorb into the skin for a remarkable difference..

The soothing blend of Juniper Berry, Rosemary, Bergamot and Lemon will ease the senses and allow the body to de – stress…
