Candle making workshop – 21 February 2021

If you are new here and would like to know more about our hands on candle making workshop, browse our past workshop blog posts or get in touch. Our next physical candle making workshop is on Sunday the 7th March, we hope you can join us. Seats are limited, be quick! Book your seat here.

We have been cautiously continuing with our candle making workshops during the Pandemic, although we offer an online version of the workshop the physical workshop has been highly requested to continue and we understand why. Now more than ever we are all craving that human interaction/connection and we are doing everything in our power to make that happen. Thank you to all those who continue to support us during this topsy turvy time – there is joy to be had despite the hardships.

Here are a few photos from our 21 Feb workshop. Same processes, beautiful new faces;

The #SMLcandlemaking workshop covers the basics of candle making with a fundamental focus on hand poured vegan soy wax scented massage candles.

Our physical workshops cover the following:
– An introduction to candle making.
– Different types of candles.
– Methods of candle making.
– The benefits of soy wax.
– Blending essential oils.
– Candle making equipment and care thereof.
– Stockists details.
– How to create a personal brand with a focus on Instagram. (This includes photo editing tools, our favourite apps and tips on how to maximise your engagement.)

Our online candle making course launched this year, it was never designed to replace the physical workshop, (even though it was perfect timing with us being confined to our homes), but rather to support our international audience, so if you are reading this and longing to learn from the comfort of your own home – this is for you. Read more about our online course here, I would recommend that you purchase our candle making kit to ensure you have all the equipment you need at home to get started… Shop here.

Sign up to our mailer to be the first to know about workshop dates for 2021 and other in-studio news or follow us on instagram.
