I never get personal here, because well, this is my business blog and I am a professional! If you know me at all you will know I don’t like to mix the two BUT guess what professionals are human too, so let’s get personal!
Life has a funny way of giving exactly what you need when you feel you need it least, you know, when you are content with the way things are… The last few months have been incredibly challenging for me both professionally and personally, really testing me and my ability to human, over the last little while I have been experiencing life at the speed of 15 WTF’s per hour! Fortunately it is forcing me to take inventory of my heart and really question why I am doing things and where am I going.
I loved this quote by author Anais Nin via #GirlBoss.
I have realized that sometimes making room to bloom is uncomfortable, sometimes we are pushed to do it but most times everything will be okay!
So you may be wondering why I am telling you this?
It’s because, 1. you are not alone (PM me for DMC’s) and 2. things will be changing around here, small little unnoticed steps in what I feel is the right direction for me, resulting in big exciting changes for Studio Melissa Louise. I hope to bring you so much more fun, beautiful content filled with interior design guidance, tips, tricks and industry secrets on achieving covet homes you will never want to leave!
Thank you for your support thus far, don’t leave just yet, things are about to get a whole lot more busy and fun as I embrace this new chapter…
